Celestial Bodies at Stavanger Kunstforening, last of five performances for VU2011 curated by Johanne Nordny Wernø and Karolin Tampere. A cross-Atlantic dialog between Kari Adelaide, Marthe Ramm Fortun and Juliet Jacobson in which we disseminated the character of the Modernist muse through Avant Garde poet Mina Loys texts. Passing objects, texts and ideas between Oslo and New York, the project manifested itself in five performances comissioned for VU2011, a juryed, annual exhibition traveling art institutions in Western Norway. Originating in a group presentation at the Poetry Project, St. Marks Church, New York 2010 Marthe, Kari and Juliet continues their collaboration.
